    Echo is an AI-powered emotional support companion designed for Nigerian students and remote workers. It is available 24/7 to listen, validate your feelings, and help you find your footing during difficult moments. Echo is not a therapist and does not diagnose — it is a safe, judgment-free space to be heard.

    Emotional Analysis

    Every message is read for emotional tone. Echo classifies your state — Calm, Stressed, Anxious, Lonely, Burned Out, Distressed, or Crisis — and adjusts its response accordingly.

    Risk Assessment

    Echo assesses each message as Low, Medium, or High risk. High-risk input bypasses the AI entirely and routes directly to verified human support resources.

    Emotional Memory

    Echo remembers your name and recent emotional states across sessions, so it can pick up where you left off and notice patterns over time.

    Mood Journal

    Log daily check-ins, reflections, and gratitude entries. Echo tracks your mood trends over time in the Pulse dashboard.

    Global Impact, Local Roots

    Echo was built with Nigerian users as its first market — with local crisis helplines and culturally aware responses. Global crisis support is included, and multilingual support is on the roadmap.

    Voice note support is coming in the next version — speak instead of type, and Echo will analyse both your words and your tone.
